Facility Rules

Safety first. Please review and follow these rules to ensure a great experience for everyone.

Common-Sense Rules for Everyone's Safety

Like every other motocross facility, we have some basic rules to protect our staff, our property, and most importantly our racers and their families. Motocross tracks are facing higher insurance premiums and more regulations than ever before. Our main focus is safety for all of our racers and visitors.

We ask that you do your part while you're visiting. Thank you!

General Facility Rules

  • 🏁
    No pit bikes. Anything with a throttle is considered a pit bike and not permitted.
  • 🏁
    Pedaled bikes without a throttle are permitted.
  • 🏁
    Golf carts/side by sides are permitted with pit vehicle pass & a licensed/insured driver that is at least 21 years old.
  • 🏁
    Wristbands must be worn at all times.
  • 🏁
    First gear/no roost when making your way to and from the track.
  • 🏁
    Respect the grounds including the camping area. Please only ride on the dirt roads as much as possible.
  • 🏁
    Spectators must stay within designated fenced areas. No trespassing onto Dixieland Speedway, Go Kart track or in the woods. All trespassers will be asked to leave ECMX. No refunds.
  • 🏁
    All pets must be leashed at all times. ECMX is not responsible for dog related injuries.
  • 🏁
    NO fighting, vandalism, dumping, drugs, fireworks or firearms are allowed on the premise. These are grounds for immediate ejection from the park.
  • 🏁
    No threatening or physical contact with an AMA Official, ECMX staff member, other competitor, or spectator. Threatening or physical contact will result in immediate disqualification of you or your racer, notification to the series/AMA and a permanent ban from the facility.

    AMA Officials and ECMX staff decisions are final.
  • 🏁
    Discard all trash in the provided trash barrels.
  • 🏁
    Ground fires are not permitted, all open fires must be in an off-the-ground fire pit.
  • 🏁
    Always pay attention to and comply with park staff and flaggers.
  • 🏁
    Vendor row is off limits to all race bikes and pit vehicles.
  • 🏁
    Please stay off the track after dark. Children are NOT allowed on the track when the track is being worked or after dark.
  • 🏁
    Please only park your rig where you are directed to park.
  • 🏁
    Stacyc riders are to be under parental supervision at all times. All unattended Stacyc riders will be returned to their campers and their bike will be parked for the rest of their visit.

On Track Rules

  • 🏁
    Reckless and dangerous behavior will NOT be tolerated.
  • 🏁
    Hold your lines and be courteous to other riders while on the course.
  • 🏁
    If you are being lapped, try to safely stay out of the race line.
  • 🏁
    NEVER go backwards on the track or intentionally cut or stop on the track.
  • 🏁
    Enter and Exit the track at designated locations only.
  • 🏁
    Only one parent is allowed out onto the track during the 50cc races. Parents caught jumping fences or running onto the track will result in rider DQ and removal from the park. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • 🏁
    All incidents must be reported to ECMX Staff and/or a track official.
  • 🏁

Required Gear

Protective Equipment

All riders must wear protective equipment. Please use good judgement when it comes to protective clothing and equipment.

At a minimum, a rider must have:

  • Helmet
  • Goggles
  • Long pants
  • Over the ankle boots

All minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a legal or designated guardian to participate.
